Housing, Meals and Supervision
Camp students, except day campers, will be housed in air-conditioned
UNCG dormitories and will eat all meals in the University dining Hall.
Campers must bring their own sheets, towels, and pillow from home.
Camp students will be housed ona two per room basis. You
may wish to find a roommate who is also attending camp, but we will
pair each student who does not come with a roommate with someone close
to their age. Housing for Friday night, after camp has ended,
is not provided.
Meals provided begin with dinner on Sunday and end with dinner on Friday
-- 16 meals in all. All meals will be served in the UNCG Dining
Hall, a cafeteria-style service which allows camp students to eat as
much food as they wish at every meal with a wide variety of choices.
While staying the UNCG dormitories, all camp students will be under
the careful supervision of the Music Camp Staff. More than sixty
counselors will live in the dormitories each week and closely monior
all aspects of camp life. Day Campers will be assigned
to a counselor, who will take students to the pick-up location after
each day's activites have ended.
